INDEPENDENT
All About Me
I was born on October 2nd, 1993 in Yuma, Arizona. I'm loud, I'm obnoxious, I make mistakes, but have no regrets. I love neon colors, and zebra print. I'm opinionated, independent, a little girlish, but I swear worse then a drunken sailor and make smart comments. My friends are my life. Music is my motivation. I collect quotes and knitting is one of my favorite pass times. The littlest things make me happy, and I believe that every cloud has a silver lining. Lake Powell is my favorite place in the world. I love hair and make-up, which is why I plan on going to Cosmetology School, followed by Culinary School because I love food!!! Giraffes are my favorite animal and purple is my favorite color. I have a little sister who is my fricking world. I believe in love and that laughing is the healthiest thing to do, aside from smiling. I'm just happy to be alive, so why would I spend my time being sad. I believe that the best accessory a girl can have is her best friend. The nights that turned into mornings and the friends that turned into family are some of my favorite memories.
My Personal Code of Ethics
A) Respect of Others and Their Property
- When it comes to respecting others and their property, I feel as if the main code is "Respect someone with as much respect as they return."
B) Being Honest with Yourself and Others
- It's important to be honest with yourself and others. If you lie to yourself, it's only going to cause greater problems for you in the long run. And if you aren't honest with other people, it could hurt them. You always need to keep in mind the idea of treat others how you wish to be treated.
C) Taking the Life of Another Person
- The only time it is ever even remotely okay to take the life of another human being is if they are personally endangering you or someone close to you. Other then that, it's a crime and you deserve everything you get after that. If the cops don't get you? Karma will.
D) Loyalty to family/friends/spouses (cheating)
-If they are loyal to you, be loyal to them. Someone talks bad about your family, you stick up for them. No matter if you get along with them or not. They are still your family and they will stick by you. The same goes with friends. Now when it comes to loyalty with a spouse, cheating is never okay. Cheating isn't a mistake, its a choice. If you think you are ready to be with one person and ONLY that one person, than be with them! If you want to screw around behind that persons back, why be in that relationship? You want to cheat? Don't tell one person you love them and that you'll be faithful, because you obviously don't mean a word of it. Open relationships are just stupid. They are immoral and wrong.
E) Relationship with the Natural World
-Humans suck. That's just it. The plants and animals were all here before we were. Yet we come in and we tear the trees down, push the animals out of their habitats without giving it a second thought. Which is wrong.

Resume and Recommendation
Work/Career/School Plans
As of right now, I am the business manager of an independent cleaning company. I work 6 days out of the week, at 7 AM before coming to school. After graduation, I plan to get a second job, to eventually put myself through Cosmetology School. I then plan on using my Cosmetology Degree to put myself through Culinary School, to get my Culinary Arts and Management degree. I'm not quite sure as to where I will be going to school, I just know that I will. I have the ambition and drive to succeed. And I will.
Reflection Paper For 1st Trimester Interum Week
During Interum week, I was lucky enough to be able to shadow Tim Mason, down at the Brew Pub in Glenwood.
On the first day, he showed me his daily check list, taught me about invoices, and we organized the dry storage area.
On the second day, we cut, breaded, seasoned, and froze around 150 steaks, and he taught me how to make the chocolate chip cookie pie crusts for the ice cream pie. On the third day, we made Ranchero sauce. We also took inventory of the freezers, refrigerators, and dry storage. Then we put the orders in, which needs to be done about 3 times a week. We also fixed a sink. Everyday, we put up the daily specials and soup. I quickly made friends with the kitchen crew. I had so much fun shadowing Tim during that week. He taught me a lot about the duties, responsibilities, and pressures of running a restaurant. On the last day of Interum week, a group of us took a trip down to Grand Junction to tour Intellitec and Colorado Mesa University.
